I was just told I didn't have a seizure because there was no elevated heart rate. Mind you, this was a nurse. A cardiacs nurse. So, anyone else with Epilepsy that does not an elevated heart rate.

I've had a seizure with zero increased heart rate and others that were high so...

Mines are up and down sometimes my heart rate is fine other times its a bit faster

Yes...this is why all the newer VNS implants are made to detect your increased heart rate. Mine goes off a LOT more than every 5 minutes ( which means it lasts for a full minute instead of 30 seconds at a time) and at a higher level of electricity. I CAN feel the increased "dose" going off a LOT. I have to wonder how many seizures it's blocking/preventing.
You can have a seizure with a low heart rate, high heart rate as in infection or anything in between. They should do their homework.

I Had A Seizure Yesterday On My Way To Work. The Paramedic Told Me About My Fit Bit Stats That Will Show Seizure Activity.
