My doctor gave me a prescription for the tremors but because the DBS and VNS levels are adjusted side effects from regular meds are worse and the doctor has to make a new Rx cocktail mine added primidone for the tremors

It might also be a reaction to not taking meds any more. How long ago did you stop. I can recall laying in my hospital bed after my first set of brain surgeries and my dad next to me and his hands were shaking like crazy. I learned later it was because he hadn't had the alcohol his body had, since he's an alcoholic. Just an idea.

I would say a reaction to your meds. Maybe too big of a dosage or a reaction the med could have that's never listed on the bottle.

I would talk to my neurologist about it. My dads hands shake wicked bad and he is supposed to see a neurologist about it but is being stubborn and won't do it. They shake so bad, if I'm around and he's trying to pour tea into his cup or something, it sloshes everywhere. I ask if he wants me to do it and he gets defiant and says, NO, I can do it. I've even told him I will call my doctor and get the appointment set up, but he is completely against it. I think he's afraid of what he might find out. It really worries me, so yeah, I would definitely contact my neuro.
