Seizure Sweat
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Had a seizure recently on a cold day but came round dripping with sweat. Anybody else had the same? (I know this has been discussed before)

Yes, its just your body's natural reaction to the tensing of your muscles. Its quite a workout. I wouldnt label it "Seizure sweat" That sounds a little derogatory. It is simply sweat.

As Baz stated it is from the tensing and untensing of muscles. One medication that also gives you sweats is keppra.
