I have had seizures since April, 1964. Until I came to Southern MD in March, 1976 neurologists had insisted that I take my medications at specific times each day. But since I have been in Southern MD the neurologists claim that the time is not vital ; as long as you take the Total Daily Dose of Medicine.
I never had problems like this before I had my back operated on. I was clumsy at times but never like this

From what I understand Dilantin is supposed to be released same amount throught day. But when I go for blood draws to check it they always ask when was the last time I took it. I used to take 300mg at night because my Grand Malls were always 3 to 5am in the morning. Now after 2 children and age I take 150mg at night and 90 in the morning. I also take Klonopin for a neurological disorder that causes my left leg to give out and sometimes spasm. Still working on it and have become really good at falling but somehow not hitting my head.not always
