More people are using the flashing lights on cell phones, and emergency vehicles. Emergency vehicles are especially difficult when you've been seizure free for a while and are allowed to drive. Flashing lights still seem to bother me. Does anyone else have this issue?

The police car sirens are so intense for me even just on the news. I can't drive I don't know how I would handle it driving.

Yes, definitely know how you feel. Several times I catch myself off guard with lighting throughout my commumuntiy. During holidays I've found the new LED lighting pulls me in, causing me temporary loss and staring off. Even the church I attend seems to have new stage lighting during music warship and if I don't purposely take control and look down avoiding light contact which seems to help so far. Also, seem to be ultra sensitive to camera flashes which cause problems for me similar to strobe lighting. Recently went to the DMV for a new ID and had to take a photo without realizing that a flash was about to explode before my face I stood still for moments unable to re focus and move along. The clerk even said to me twice that I was done, but I was non responsive for a few minutes. I'm somewhat surprised as to the dis=regard of lighting as surely there are several people that are light sensitive for many reasons. I try not to be that complainer in public and tough it out praying I wont leave that lasting impression with people that may never had experienced a person having a seizure.

I don't have photosensitive epilepsy but flashing lights at concerts annoy me so I close my eyes & cover them with my hands

Yes, I am light sensitive regardless as well. We don't realize what other people go through.
Thank you for your input.
