We use palmetto harmony! Janel's daughter has epilepsy so really she started making the product for Harmony. If it benefits others, it's a plus. My daughter has gone down from about 75 seizures a day to about 15 and we've lowered many of her medications slowly.

We have never tried CW but I know that they do not release their labs and have blocked Janel from them bc she keeps asking why. But you need to understand that the CW that is shipped all over the country is NOT the same as what the little girl Charlotte uses. Charlotte is in Colorado so has more THC in her treatment.

I've also heard great things about Haley's Hope. (Idk if I'm spelling that right) and they also release their labs.

The best advice I was given from a mom and who's poor child passed last year...you have a headache, I have a headache. If I take aspirin and it works the best for me, I'm going to keep taking aspirin. Maybe Advil works best for you. So try what works for you and don't let others tell you that you're wrong just because you've chosen something different. Just make sure you can get labs from anywhere you order or else you'll never know if it's a safe product. Lots of "snake oil" out there. It's a slow process but I believe it's sooo worth it!

I was having seizures last night and it woke me up this morning, so I used some CBD because I know it works for me. I don't have to use much and the seizures stopped. I put it under my tongue so it gets into my blood stream faster and the cannabinoids are small enough to cross the blood brain barrier and then they will affect the endocannabinoid system and the immune system. In those two systems are located specific receptors that the cannabinoids will affect and will stop the seizures.
When you see warning about the use of CBD it is most likely from big pharma trying to scare you so you don't use CBD because it is probably starting to cut into big pharma's profits. Cannabis is safer than all these laboratory meds and it is natural for you body and brain. This crap big pharma sells and doctor prescribe is not good for us. I've seen how high blood pressure meds can destroy someone. My neighbor was taking them and it affected him to a degree so bad he had trouble walking and even lost the ability to walk up stairs he was so weak and I think it damaged his nervous system and his muscles to a degree so bad that I think it is irreparable. He was 70 but walking like he was 90 or older.
My mother was taking a med for high blood pressure that affect her nervous system to bad it was causing extreme pain. Be careful of antibiotics too, that crap can kill you. I saw that happen to my father, he never told me he was taking them, if I had known I would have made him stop. But doctor's hand that crap out like candy and they don't tell you when to stop many times. I don't know how long he was taking antibiotics, but I saw he couldn't even digest food. All these doctors thought it was cancer and all they had to do was ask him "are you taking any medication and if so what ?" After he died I asked my mother if he was taking anything I didn't know about and she told me he was taking antibiotics. So I easily made the connection it was the antibiotics that killed him. Anyone that understand Biology knows what I'm talking about.

Back to the original question.....I have worked with CW and the real of caring (CO) , HH Jason Cranford (CO), Palmetto Harmony (SC) , All of which are focused on epilepsy and care or have outreach for us somehow. In my experience there is a bunch of competition drama sometimes between the producers...and I try and tell people to stay out of it....but these are the ones I know that really want to help us. They provide lab tests and have advocates like me around. There is also a small difference between each one of these and sometimes one works for a person better than the other one. There are other sources like personal caregivers and a few good dispensaries that are in many cases much better than the big guys....because more one on one. This is not a complete list here just a start. There are many more I know and perhaps more even I do not know hopefully at this point. The other hemp cbd products can work and I have seen people do well, but I focus on people or companies that have some connection and obvious link and understanding about what our issues are with the drugs we are prescribed and the seizure types , EEG, ect ect ,,,,its better when they have a clue what we are facing every day.

If any one here does get CBD try to get it from a place that has a reputation and some kind of transparency.....there are companies that make CBD oils that have never treated or had anything to do with people like us. There are several companies that have track records and work with us. If you have the CBD it is more important to take very small doses like 5-20mg everyday overtime than to take really high doses to get 100% seizure control quickly. Less is more and drink good water with it. And always look into the diet to get any processed food out while trying cannabis....it will be so much more beneficial that way I can promise you.

If you are in a medical cannabis state and can see a medical cannabis doctor you will have the ideal chance to do thc as well with a specialist.....that will be a huge benefit to so many of us. If wish the government would write a rule that would say anyone with epilepsy any where in the country should have legal medical access to all the possibilities of the plant like this...thc,thcv,cbd,cbc,cbn ect ect.... In the meantime CBD only is better than not having any cannabis. It is also a less interactive than thc and easier to dose up and down when on other drugs. That is a little silver lining in a way. But this can leave the patient wondering and with questions. Support is always Key !!
