I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 20 (temporal lobe epilepsy). Will my epilepsy get worse the older I get? Will it get better?
Mine got worse in my 30-40's, starting getting better in fifties, now seizure free for 3yrs, even though I have to continue to take meds, worth it as I got my drivers license back

Falbamate a sister brand to Felbatol. Not generic.
In my opinion age doesn’t matter with Epilepsy. You may have good control or bad control of the seizures.
Everyone’s Epilepsy is different.
Glad Felbamate is atleast helping and I know what you mean about driving. I couldnt for 5yrs.
I'd sure like to see you get complete control,a licence'and take off.Dont forget there are other
ways to control epilepsy besides meds esp just the meds your current doctor just happens to knows
about. Please take an active part. Look for what is possible today and tomorrow to treat.Discuss Your ideas and questions with your doctor.Dont forget he is working you the boss with the power to hire and fire. You can be fired a new one hired if you're not happy with his work.. You got to get results and a license.
With epilepsy all depends on the meds ,the doctor gives you amd keeps tring to control your epilepsy ' I been on alot of meds .So far Felbamate is keeping me low with seziures . I have Epilepsy for 18 years . now 49 years old . I just do not think about it . Yes for me it rots not to remember things fromm years ago ,and sometimes monthes . The worst one is not able to drive ,but good thing for a company R.IDE . Idid have surgery to see where my seziures start from ,but could not fine this .
Keep in touch and do not think negative ,it does not help . Also I was told stay away from chocalte.
