Why Would Any Woman Want To Be A Member Of My Team?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I do not understand why any woman would want to be a member of my team. Most of them are in a relationship. Some are young enough to be my daughters. Hell, one is even related to me. All the ones who are in my age group and martial status have something in common: THEY DO NOT WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME BECAUSE THEY THINK I AM A HIDEOUS, REPULSIVE AND WORTHLESS CREATURE. Now, answer the question: Why in the hell do you want to be on my team?

Noone is worthless in God's eyes. God does not make repulsive people. Don't let what others say bother you., yes sometimes people can be cruel. Just try to overlook that and love them regardless. That's what Jesus would want us to do. Read Cornth 14 in the Bible the Love chapter. Do you read the bible.?

I have friends from all ages.
It's all about positive thinking. I'm learning that one. If you think positive positive things happen. If you think negative negative things happen. Here we are all looking for a friend. I'm married but It's always nice to meet a new friend. All you have to do is let them in. No judging them( young, old, married or single )

You were one of my first team members on here. And yeah, I date on and off because I'm young. But right now I'm here alone on Easter. Single. Sad. And I cry myself to sleep at night. I got divorced last year after a marriage that only lasted 5 months before it fell apart. You know what? It sucks being alone. And it's hard. And it's lonely. But I truly believe that we have to learn to be happy by ourselves before we can be happy with another person. That is my belief.

And you want to know why I want to be on your team? This young girl, 24 years old. Because I know you understand what I'm going through right now in my life. Male, female. It doesn't matter. 15, 20, 40, 50. Age is just a number. We are all going through the same trial right now. And shouldn't we all band together and stand strong as one? You are on my team so that we can help one another when times get hard. Especially in situations that maybe the other has experience in. You see what I'm saying?

I think it is really strange that the only ones who tell me "to be patient because the right one will come along" are in a relationship. I am tired of people who have no idea what I am going through trying to give me advice about a subject they know nothing about. When is someone who is lonely going to give me some advice?

Life isn't easy as a man & have seizures. I know how you feel. Everyone tells me how handsome I am. I just don't see it. But God doesn't make junk. I gave up looking. I blocked out all female signs & signals to let me know they were interested. I wasn't going to allow any woman to just throw me away for something I can't help.Today if a woman is that interested in me they won't be subtle about it. They will bold about it & make the first move. The woman in my profile pic is my sister. I could never replace her. SHe is younger me. She has always taken care of her big brother. Good luck.
