Emotions Part Two
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone find they cry following a seizure or does crying lead to a seizure? I'm not sure if this is depression caused by medication?

Stress is one of the top triggers for all of us, along with forgetting meds, lack of sleep and ect.

I have a theory with people who cry, feel sad and getting mad after a seizure. I believe that those people' s seizures are hitting the emotional part of the brain. So when you have your seizures, they are also going triggering the emotion part . So when you or anyone else comes out from the seizure , you start feeling sad, angry, or want to cry.

I agree with angie38. Stress leads to a seizure. So the less stressful we are the better we are of.
