Seizures In Children
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

What's a seizure look like in their sleep? My son is 14 months and He twitches in his sleep with shorness of breath then eventually wakes up and cries and then sometimes does it all over again. Thoughts? Usually I'm exhausted that I usually fall asleep with him but lately I've been staying up and this is what I've noticed but I don't know how long it's been going on.You don't think hes having seizures do you??

I would recommend that you take your child to your physician, and explain your concerns, that way they can do all the tests needed to diagnose your childs illness

they range from a twitch of eyelid to full body convulsions, best to have a sleep study done with EEG.
