Carbamazepine
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been taking tegretol for 20 years, I hadn't had a fit for 7 years so when, I started chemotherapy I was on 26 tablets a day. And was a bit lapse. In the end I came off them. 2 months later I had a fit. And started taking 200 mg x2. In may. I began taking 300mg in the morning and 200 at night. Since taking this amount my memory and concentration. has determined.

This was a big reason I got off the drug. I was on it for over 10 years. 800mg twice a day. but even I found the other drugs can cause the same problem.
