Does anyone here use a service dog to alert about seizures, if so how would one get one?

We went for private trainer route. My puppy alerted so we got her trained to be a alert/response service dog. When she gets all "pet me pet me" and refuses to stop, it's an alert.

I don't know the exact process, but from what I understand service dogs are very expensive. However, there may be grants and other financial aid methods to assist.

Find a private trainer who might be up to the challenge. Let them find the dog.
Have them train the dog and then train you.

No one understands what causes the alert. Trainers can't duplicate it. It's something a dog does naturally and not all do.
If ya find one, keep it.
The Service Dog is a Seizure Response Service Dog. They cost lots of money and usually take a couple years of training, including public access.
