Epilepsy- Driving And Background Check
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do you guys know in San Francisco what the law is for reporting epileptics ? My doc said that she has to report me to the DMV and I want to know how long can't I drive ? Does it appear on my background check and my employers can see that I am epileptic ? When can I drive again ?

D@ Why do MANY People want to hide that they are EPILEPTIC? Until a Person accepts what GOD gave them, that EPILEPTIC will have nothing but problems. that is why i wish "MyEpilepsyTeam" would have a Place showing all the EPILEPTIC Famous People. There are hundreds in our History like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, I think Abraham Lincoln, also many current Actors and Sports Figures. Like many of the OLYLIPIANS, watch the Handicap OLYMPICS coming up in a week or so to see some.

My doc doesn't report me to the DMV, so I drive when she tells me I can. I don't know. If you haven't had any seizures in two years, you don't know if you will have one tomorrow, or 8 years from now. I think you should be able to drive at such a point, or maybe even a little earlier. Of course anyone would be horrified if they killed someone, but you could kill someone just by looking at your phone, speeding, etc.
