Im thinking about getting one ive started the insurance process but i want to know some personal experience with it. I have auras and i talk and answer questions even though im not really aware. Can anyone help me
I did good to start but my neurologist had to keep messing with it. When you first get it it feels funny. Tight feeling for a few seconds. Then it passes fir awhile. After about 2 weeks you start to get use to it. We are all different though.
Had an VNS since I was 12years old I'M 38years old TODAY when the VNS first came to U.S.A. The doc. Told me about it and had surgery that next week my VNS I Have is as Big as an pacemaker now today they are as small as a penny to me ever 7years I have surgery for a new battery I believe the ones today they don't have to have another surgery for a battery I also have partial and grandmal seizures and complex ,and photosentive seizures
The vns I have had to have the battery changed 2 years ago, they last about 5 years depending on how often yours is set to go off. It does feel odd at first, but it does get better.
I have one it got put in on the 3rd of march and was all good until recently its been giving me real problems and I just feel like im deteriorating from the inside out bit by bit and just being ignored when I tell them that I need a new battery this one is broke.some horrible effects from it that I shouldn't be getting.just don't know what to do anymore.il try and help if you have any questions though
I have my Dr medical opinion but i want to hear from some people who actually live with it everyday.
