Just had surgery 1 x week ago as a side effect am suffering aphasia (inability to find words to talk) am a bit slow its improving daily, my concentration levels are a bit lower than normal! I get distracted easily...can anyone relate? I had a right frontal lobe resection
I experienced this as well following a bad tonic clonic last year. It went away verrrry gradual, took about a month but no signs now. Take your time n hang tough, my friend!
I had the same one. I was ok, but going back to work I forgot all I of the codes at work
I had a tumour in my left temporal lobe which is a part of the brain used for memory and speech. I had to learn how to speak and write and needed a bit of help to read aswell, that was 15 years ago and speech is fine but remembering the words to say is still a bit of a problem . My neurologist said to try and get my sentences right without anyone's help to encourage the brain to think. it is annoying but you get use to it.
Hope so, seems to improve every day!! I kind of feel in a permanent zombie like state, I want to go have a big sleep and wak eup feeling like my old self again! prehaps i'm asking too much? seizure free vs this absent state of mind
Have they said this is temporary? Xx sending hugs
