Hmmm advice needed guys! My neurologist has just prescribed a fortnight of Clobazam.... What if any are people's experiences with this medication? As although I've administered it to people, I've never taken it myself... x

I have been prescribed clobazam aswell my dosage is one in the morning, one in the evening and one if i have a cluster of fits but it's constant not just for a few weeks like you. The only side effect I have is tiredness which my neurologist said would be so I hope that's all it will be for you

I have taken this alongside Valproate to ease my vacancies and have been on 1 am 2 pm this dose has been mine for years right from the days they had to write SLS at the side of the drug to enable you to get it as a free drug for epilepsy otherwise you would have to pay for them (In the UK we had a lot of deregulation of certain drugs that meant some were no longer prescribed free.)

I'm prescribed it but was told only to take it , if I felt one coming or had just had a seizure and then only for 1-2 weeks then start stepping down off them.
Hope this was useful
