Depressed
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a bad day the other day and I felt depressed and I didn't care about anything. I went to my gp a few months ago to see what it is that makes me feel down. My parents an gp think that it is my hormones but I don't because I have been having these moods since I had the operation early 2015. Personally I think it's some form of depression but I don't know. Could someone please help?

Eleanor,
Almost every Med has a depression or anger. You just have to know how to handle it appropriately. Remember, it's not YOU but Your Meds. I'm the happy one in the family!

Every time I go to my neurologist, she always ask me about how I am feeling. I started out in a study for Aptiom with her. I visit her every three months. Tell her about the all the different stressed that are in occurring in my life, and she assists me in asking different types of questions, and tell me if its a normal feeling or not. Every time you go to any type of doctor always tell them your emotional feelings to, because it might be a symptom for something else. Like when I was testing the drug, I told them about my bald spots.
Also, if you would like someone to talk, hook up with me on facebook messenger. You have my name and the photo is the same. God Bless.
