My daughter has juvenile myoclonic epilepsy and left mesiak temporal sclerosis. Shes only on keppra. should she be on another for the other seizure?

I get partials and generalized and I only take one medicine.

I'm no dr, but I'll do my best at clarifying this for you. 👍 Left mesial temporal sclerosis is not a type of seizure. That's a medical description of where her seizure focus is. What that basically means is the seizure focus for your daughter's myoclonic epilepsy is located "toward the middle" (mesial) of the damaged/hardened tissue (sclerosis) in her left temporal lobe. Hope that's an easy to understand explanation. 💜

That's something I think you can talk to a neurologist about abd keep on doctor if you feel something different from a headache all the time to dizziness or just always sleeping or tired....hope this helps somehow
