Sickness
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does any one else find that they are violently sick after having a black out? I mentioned that this happens to my specialist but he did not seam to say anything about it. Is it normal? Even mini seizures leave me feeling dizzy and sick and makes it hard to function.

I was told once (can't remember from whom) that some seizures start in the stomach; causing the first phase of seizing and going through the whole body. The stomach is a delicate machine and when it gets wrenched and spasms causing cramps. You name it; exhaustion, vertigo, 'hit by a truck' sensation...we all feel the after effects differently.

Yes I feel sick for days ,having a good support group is great ,sometimes people around don't realize how you feel after having a seizure ,I feel depressed start thinking negative ,but a few days go by and it goes away ,but not gone the fear of having a seizure in a social outing keeps me from going out ,anyone else feel like this .
