My daughter has been on Epilim Chrono 300mg twice a day since April 2014. She was on different doses of Lamictal from November 2014 to July 2015. A high keppra level makes me incredibly tired and dizzy. To counteract the dizziness, I load up on electrolytes usually by drinking Gatorade or electrolyte enhanced water.
The tiredness with keppra only went away once I started Lamictal and began to wean off the keppra.
It seems to work better than Tegretol or it's generic. I take 200mg. twice a day. Hint: I get mine through "Bridges to Access" for free. I'm on disability.
Yes. It’s one of the many side effects. This is already a fairly high dose, but if it’s increased, it can cause irritability or verbal aggression. See if the doctor tries to increase Keppra, that there’s other options, focusing on the kind of seizure.
it can effect heart ,infertility so if i was you id go back to who prescribed them,as in uk theres high alert on this,I'm on 2000,mg in 500mg tablets,I'm getting took off as of alert,hope this helps
