I had a seziure a cpl days ago I came to on my kitchen floor and I and lost control of all of my bodily functions. I was embarrassed because my roommate and boyfriend was there. This has only happened two years other times. Is this normal.

Yes, it absolutely can be, depending on the type and the severity of the seizure. You are certainly not alone, and I know it's hard, but it is absolutely not your fault, so go easy on yourself and try not to be too embarrassed.

I have lost bladder control during my last few seizures. It is frustrating and I got into the habit to feel my pants everytime I wake up. I just want you to know that you are not alone. None of us are

Hi Michelle, first I agree with everything that has been posted here. It's hard to accept but absolutely not your fault. Secondly, I've only been using this site for a few weeks myself. I found it on a really down day. I can't tell you how much support and information I've got along the way. Welcome to people who understand what your going through first hand.

HI Michelle ~
It's always easy to say don't be embarrassed and people do understand. My seizures are quite often and different sorts.
It's great to hear they are rare for you. Do you keep any sort of journal? I keep one when I remember (ha!) But I do contact my doctors.
