I take Levetiracetam and tomapax in the morning and at 6pm. I have my alarm is set for both times but sometimes I don't here the one in the morning or I take it and I'll forget that I did rather it's in the morning or afternoon. What I am asking is how do you keep track or what are you using to make sure you didn't forget?
I had Blood Drawn the other day. I was supposed to not take my medication until that happened. Now the Pharmacy sets them up. I put the AM meds in a bag and could do that.
Has anyone been either at home or in public and had a seizure that was embarrassing?

This is my first time posting on a site about my epilepsy, but I feel like I just need to vent to people like me. A little about me: I live in a small town in VA with my mom, dad, and fiancé. I'm turning 25 in a week and I had my first seizure at 17 the morning after my grad party. It was a gran mal and my life just hasn't been the same since. Has anyone had a prolonged aura and you try to "fight off" your seizure because you know its coming? I was at the grocery stote today and i didnt want to fall down and make a big scene so i tried to calmly go to the register and kind of leaned on my boyfriend and seized in line because i couldnt fight it anymore.. it didnt last that long but i was still out of it until we went to the car and i had the rest of the seizure in the cluster

I can usually fight off my seizures by taking a nap. I have to be seriously distracted or out of it.
No problem I just cut back due to a wine belly
I wore one of those EEG Caps for a number of days. Back then they saw one seizure when I was sitting in a comfortable chair. At night when asleep they found 5-8 second events. I am happy with the meds… read more
Now that a vaccine for covid is in further trials is anyone worried it will interfere with their current epilepsy medication?
I had the first of the two Astra Zenica injections and it’s had no bad effects on my epilepsy at all. Due the second one in roughly 8 weeks now.
Obviously, the fact that we have friends on here in just about all, if not all, of the time zones on the planet, thus it would have to be smaller gatherings by region to start. After all, it is around 1:30 pm EST here in MA right now, but it is 6:30pm in London and Tuesday 5:30am in Sydney.
It would be helpful in getting to know friends that we cannot meet with locally if we could use ZOOM to meet with at least some of them.
What do you think? Are you interested?
The best idea is if there is someone who has the tech skills in each time zone to try to get some going using ZOOM (45 minute free meetings) or Skype (much longer free meetings but a less known site)… read more
