Medicine reminder?

Medicine reminder?

I take Levetiracetam and tomapax in the morning and at 6pm. I have my alarm is set for both times but sometimes I don't here the one in the morning or I take it and I'll forget that I did rather it's in the morning or afternoon. What I am asking is how do you keep track or what are you using to make sure you didn't forget?

a pill minder would be good.

You could keep them in your purse in case you go out so you don't miss the 6 pm dosage.

Because of my seizures, my neurologist has forbidden me to drive. Sucks because I have to rely on others to take me where I need to go.

Does or has anyone ever felt embarrassed about telling someone about their seizures?

Does or has anyone ever felt embarrassed about telling someone about their seizures?

Or on another note, has anyone ever been a little scared of telling someone you feel like you’re about to have one but end up not? Sometimes I feel like I shouldn’t tell my parents or sister because then they’re going to overreact a little after the feeling went completely away.

Carbatrol

Carbatrol

I've been put up to 1200 mg per day of tegretol retard. This is the maximum dose and seems very high - has anyone else been on such a high dose and did you suffer any side effects?

Does anyone else experience depression with epilepsy?

Does anyone else experience depression with epilepsy?

This is my first time posting on a site about my epilepsy, but I feel like I just need to vent to people like me. A little about me: I live in a small town in VA with my mom, dad, and fiancé. I'm turning 25 in a week and I had my first seizure at 17 the morning after my grad party. It was a gran mal and my life just hasn't been the same since. I currently take 350mg Lamictal XR at night before I go to sleep. Some nights I wake up and have bad tremors still.… read more
