I was wondering does it go away. I see counselor every week. Does anyone have this problem. The pain on left side face. I didn't know what is was until may. Do they give you medicine to take care of it.

I too have PTSD, however I was severely raped in 2016 not long after being diagnosed with epilepsy and seizures so I'm not really sure I it was the epilepsy or the rape that fives me the PTSD...probably actually a little bot of the both of them, I mean they happened within months of each other...

I feel like it never truly does. Even today I'm still having issues but I'm doing better than I was before we found out. They have me on antianxiety meds too though. So maybe think about seeing a psychiatrist if you don't already

As You Can Tell from all the experiences PTSD is not something the just goes away. Be smart tell your Dr. about it, and how much it bothers You. The best suggestion I can give to You is tell Your Dr. more about it. Take the first step telling Your Dr. You want help from a therapist now. That will make a good impression You are thinking about this seriously or turn this into a statement β€œI went to see a therapist now”

PTSD can be triggered even decades later. We need to deal with it and keep going. We each have issues. The important thing is to deal with the past so that the triggers are dealt with more long-term. I don't use medicine for it. I have worked in the past. Some need medicine to help them deal with their problems at first.
