Why You Need a Seizure Rescue Treatment on Hand Read Article...

They probably do have a research on it. The same rescue meds we use are used in hospitals and ambulances as rescue meds for Epilepsy and Non Epilepsy related seizures. They use them more than we do. No way would they not have made sure a rescue med wasn't also a high risk for triggering. That's the real issue. Is it a high risk of triggering a seizure.

I'm pretty sure seizure rescue meds work to stop or lesson a seizure that basically playing out. Where a AED is used to prevent the seizures. AED meds do work similar to rescue meds though as they will also lesson the effect of seizures, but this is really a case by case thing.

I can become very confused, not know where I am during a seizure. I have a Walker that would allow me to sit if needed. Sometimes I loose my balance. I can be somewhat aware. My ability to speak varies.

I had a Temporal Lobectomy many years ago. It did not stop them, so I was upset and depressed. I was told that "Echo Seizures" if they happened on my left Dominant Side could do great damage. I did not want to wonder "What would have happened if?" Another site is in the Left Occipital lobe, but that has to do with Vision.

Not that I’ve heard . Most seizure recovery meds ( maybe all ) are technically anxiety medication.

The Pharmaceutical probably won’t even allow it , if it was possible. Many AED medicines are very Expensive. They make too much profits on them .

If I "feel" A Seizure Coming On Does It Help To Double Down On Medication. Drink More Water? Sometimes This Works With Other Medications.
