@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, it can be concerning if your medication has side effects such as fatigue or tiredness. It is good to know the side effects of the medication you are taking to see if you can tolerate it.

I been on almost every anti-seizure out there including experimental. One thing I noticed about I think everyone is making me tired and dosing of. May just dose off about 15 minutes but energizes my body as if I had a full night sleep. I seen a sleep specialist was diagnose sleep apnea. I know most sleep meds can't be used with seizure meds do to affecting use of those meds. After I was diagnosed with minor sleep apnea I am able to take the only sleep those on seizure meds Ambien. Able to do that I always get a good night sleep.

When I was much younger ( between age 7 - to early twenties ) , I would have bad days of cluster seizures . They would be so strong that it would knock me out from the rest of the day into the early morning hours. When I would wake up it would still be dark out. So I couldn’t tell if it was am or pm time. I wouldn’t think about looking for the pm or am . I would just see the time and that it would still be dark outside.

I get occasionally, no prob

I’ ve had new med. 6 months ago. Fall asleep in chair! This med controls my seizures accept when I forget. I get plenty of sleep.
