Walking After Having A Seizure
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Multiple times I have taking a nap and had a seizure body convulsions that last about 30 seconds to 1 minute, then in an unconscious state it is like a fog . Last night was the first night I was able to open the door and walk outside, it was on a balcony and my husband came running. I don't know what to do about these.

Maybe think about putting a child proof lock or a coded lock key box type thing there. That way when you're in a post ictal daze you hopefully won't put the code in.
