A aura let’s me know I am about to have a seizure. One morning I woke up and I smelled banana nut bread cooking. No one was cooking. After this I was telling my husband and I would forget where I was in my statement. Then eventually I have seizures. Sorry you do this

They were called Dizzy Spells when I was a Kid. The diagnosis at the time was Petit-Mal. Years later when undergoing tests for a Temporal Lobectomy, they were called Partial Complex. Now they are called Absence Seizures. I will meet with my Neurologist this afternoon. My companion Dorothy Mead could look at my face and see if I was having or would have a Seizure. There is a letter in the office saying I need to sit near the Bathroom. They do not know why, but needing to urinate is related to them.
I will go to sleep now, because lack of enough good sleep is a trigger. Generally, I do well as long as I watch the Triggers.

There are other reasons I already use them, but thank you for the suggestion.

As far as I know, I do not have Auras. However, my face somehow looks different when one may begin. My urinating often stopped them. Needing to go is a form of stress, a trigger for me. If that did not, a bad seizure could need 3-4 hours of sleep to recover, If they are minor, I will start the conversation as if nothing happened.
