Hi guys,
I'm not on any medication at the moment for my tonic clonic and grand mal seizures.
I'm wanting to speak to my Dr about maybe starting Topomax.
Has anyone been on it? Any side effects? Does it help stop seizures?
Did you take topomax in conjunction with other seizure meds or on it's own?

I Was on Topomax and it had some side effects that were tolerable … Stay strong in time you might be thankful 🙏 🙏
My wife is living with epilepsy and I am so scared to death of losing her. I would like to know if there is anything we could do, or is it something that's inevitable?
I would say when for some reason the seizures can not be controlled, no matter what they do
What I mean is my seizures were started by too many blows to the headed by the abuse from my seizure. What do I do to let it go since I am reminded of it every day?

How does anyone who is a full time parent get by with epilepsy and the fear of having one by yourself with just your child. I have grand mal and partial seizures. I'm to scared to have another child because I'm scared I shouldn't be a mother because of my epilepsy. I've recently also had brain surgery. So I have had a lot of help since my son was born. I'm new to epilepsy & this site. My 17yr old son was diagnosed in February. How do the mommies / parents deal with teenagers , epilepsy & school? Most days i'm not sure to keep my son at home or send him to school? its at a point where i am considering home schooling. Plse advise? I need help

I received a message from my neurologist saying I have developed Mycrocitic Anemia & I should see my primary doc. to get it checked out and that she might have to lower the dosages of 1 of my meds. Does anyone else have mycrocitic anemia or any sort of anemia? How has it effected you or your meds?

I have never been one to have a "back bone" and never established healthy boundaries so I have always allowed people to walk over me but since I've been sick and taking all these powerful meds, I'm not tough or aggressive or anything like that but because drama, toxic and bad energy, stress, conflict, etc makes me brutally and violently ill and may even wind up in the hospital I've just silently without conflict just cut a myriad of people from my life because I can't deal with it because it… read more

The child can’t take a nap or go to sleep rather her meds is taken because she steady having seizures for less than minute in sleep daily. And it all started when doctor recommended we go down on doses for kreppa.
