Looking forward to trying a new medicine- Is anyone taking Xcropi for seizures? If so how is it working ? For those who don’t know, Xcropi came out in 2019.. I’m getting ready to trade in my Lamictil
I was on Oxtellar for several years and switched to Xcopri very slowly over several months last summer. Needed to up my mg once i was off the Oxtellar completely as did not have the right coverage. Work very closely with your doc as you transition. Have had no problems now 6 months being on Xcopri.
The. State gives you a restricted license for the rest of your life.Meaning once a year the neurologist look see will fill out a form that review your medical case for the past year. If the medication you are on has side affects or you have a seizure you will have to wait out another 6 months. Your license will be suspended from the state until you pass though optical.
My license has been suspended
3 times in the past 10 years
No, need to be seizure free for 6 months. What type of restrictions are you on after the 6 months in Ohio?
Your allowed to drive after a seizure?
In Ohio you have to be seizure free for 6 months. after the doctor sends a leer to the state to reinstate your license privileges.
Then you will be on a restricted license for the rest of your life.
It decreased my appetite pretty dramatically but as I said and others have said, everyone’s body reacts to medications differently. It’s worth a shot for sure. My seizures are from a traumatic brain injury to my left and right temporal lobes.
Xcropi And How It Has Been Working? I’m Trying To Switch To Xcropi But Need Some Feedback From Anyone Taking It And If It’s Worth It.
I've Been Taking Keppra, Lamotragene, And Xcopri For As Long As I Can Remember. Does Anyone Else Endure Mood Swings While Taking These?
