I smell cigarettes and when I eat it taste like metal or I feel really nauseous. I don’t always get auras though sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t!

Lately I have lots of auras but no complex partial seizures like I always do because they are under control for now 😮‍💨 (less caffeine more chamomile tea that’s all I did) but sometimes when I have these weird auras I feel like something is crawling on my arms

I have a strange tingly feeling and then less than a minute later I have a seizure. I have learned to live with this and use it as a warning device. I also use it to measure how long my seizures last.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I definitely appreciate this website also Susan. It’s nice to chat to people who are going through the same experiences.
I haven’t heard anyone say they would ‘catch’ epilepsy off me but have definitely experienced discrimination. My ex’s mother encouraged him to break up with me because I had epilepsy. I find it funny to look back on now as it’s her that needs the help not people with this illness. Hope your seizures are ok lately Susan. And head up! Don’t listen to anyone saying they would ‘catch’ this off you 💪💜
