Has Your Attention Span Shortened After A Seizure?

Since my last seizure, I find my attention span is much shorter, especially when reading. Anyone else experience this?

My attention span has been greatly reduced by both the seizures and the original traumatic brain injury. But the seizures are what really made it difficult to focus upon one particular thing for very long. And I have not found a way to regain that ability yet. I will keep you posted if I do!

I never have that much energy, ToddM. Doing a few dishes exhausts me. Wish I did.

Before I had my first seizure I could read a story and know everything about it. A week or two after I had my first seizure I no longer could remember a few sentences. I’m still that way everyday after 31 years of seizures.

I'm always tired. Seizures are few and far between.
I wish I could convince my doctors it's more than age.
PS 3-2-2023 I went to physical therapy today, I nearly fell asleep on the machines. It's so embarassing!
PPS I do speak with my doctors. However, sometimes I need to talk to someone who is actually experiencing the same issues.
