Repetitive Burping After Grand Mal
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Can anyone help me… my sibling had a 2 grand mal seizures on Sunday the 22nd. Todays the 26th and the last couple days, of course he’s been tired, lethargic; though he keeps burping. And also he’s like quiet, was anxious. Not immediately responding, though would after a couple tries. Forgets he ate… was nauseous two days ago… moments would come and go. But the burping man… wouldn’t stop
He leaves on feb. first on a flight home. I’m just worried, I love him, and all my family. What do you… read more

If anyone has a problem with burping, please let me know. I have had epilepsy for 32 years from a head injury. About 2+ years ago I have been burping several times a day, every day. I have seizures from grand mal to auras. 2+ every week. I have no idea what has brought the burping on.

If anyone has experienced this, I would appreciate knowing what to do. My doctors seem to just pass it over.
Thanks, everyone have a fantastic day.

I had two grand mal seizures quite recently short-term memory loss is quite common and the slow response is probably due to the force of the seizure it is quite draining and by burping you might be talking about gut-wrenching or gagging which I have a huge problem with when I get sick with my seizures I suggest Dramamine
