The only thing that I haven't had to deal with until maybe mid 2000's I found out I have type 2 diabetes. That and the medication made me get dehydrated quite often. I have always had dealt with stress and Sleep deprived because I was hyperactive and insomnia. So I don't think that did it. But aa the years went by and added medication for diabetes I became more prone to dehydration. I couldn't drink enough water to stay hydrated. Yes I hadn't had one since I was 3 years old and now I am 60. You never know. The main worry if you get off meds is things like driving.

So far I can drive if I want to even on a medication. I just don't have a car lol. So it's public transit for me and my husband.

I think that all of the possible causes you talked about were the caus the lack of sleep, dehydration and stress sound like a recipe for a seizure. I'm so sorry this happened to you.
