Do I Need To Go To The Hospital If I Experience Multiple Seizures In A Short Period Of Time?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I get multiple seizures often within 2 hours. It really scares me, and I am not sure what to do.

Probably should. I had a couple one day. Was so scared. But I don't usually care to go to hospital. E M T. Showed up to bank I was at. I asked them what could they do for me. Now that was alert. They said there wasn't much really. I've turned down medical help a few times.

Ask about a vagus nerve stimulator. It goes off regularly in your body, disrupting seizure activity and keeping your brain working normally.

Yes - it has happened to me but it might be that your medication is not the right dosage or you may need something referred to as "seizure rescue medications". But only your doctor can evaluate you and make the determination of what is needed.
