Has Anyone Been Successful With CBD Oil? Brands?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

CBD to combat generalized Grand Mal seizures triggered by screens/video games? We've heard of a few and would like to know the brands and doses you have used. Did your neuro guide you or did you have to venture out on your own?

You have no idea my thoughts or feelings toward doctors. Best for you to reread all the information before blurting any more absurd opinions, then move on.
You said your husband would leave you If you didn’t take the meds-Those words came out of your mouth.
I get it- you love your meds, question no doctors as they are godlike to you.
You live in a different world and that’s fine, do your own thing.
We are not the same.

As my original question was for people with experience using cbd and you (marge)are strictly against it. There is no reason for you to even be commenting thus hijacking my post.

Marge-Everyone’s case is different. What works for you doesn’t work for others. Marijuana is known to trigger some seizure types and is completely different than cbd. Stopping these nasty class of meds can also cause seizure/status epileptis, so tapering is key. It’s dreadful that your husband wasn’t more supportive and thought threats were best when you felt your worst.
When meds make the user feel depression or suicidal, it’s NOT the safest med. if you’re happy following your doctors orders that’s great.
Educating yourself and being open to new medicines and pushing for better health care works for me.
Being an advocate for myself and family has taught me to never stop research, questioning and searching when your gut instinct tells you.
Recently discussing these meds in question with an epilepsy nurse has confirmed I’m headed in the right direction! She said she cannot write scrips or suggest anything outside of traditional Pharma or her license would be in peril. However her 10 years experience with epilepsy patients has taught her that there is something else and it works without the debilitating side effects. So Keep pushing!!

Incorrect Marge, it’s the cbd/low thc that works in the brain not the stomache. I don’t need to prove you or doctors wtong when the clinical studies and FACTS are available here and the fda website! Sent a link for you to update your knowledge in this post. Make sure to do your due diligence and research before coming in here attempting to have a battle with me.
Yes medical fields are life support for big pharama. It’s all about the money.
Knowledge is power and folks want real answers with real options. Doctors are not Gods.
