Feel The Screws/plates?

i dont know if im explaining this right, but now that my head is feeling a little less numb from surgery, i feel like i can feel the plate and/or screws in my bone. (Without using my fingers) like it feels "cold" and hurts bad in one tiny area even after taking Tylenol. It feels the way metal tastes, I guess. or whatever the injection hospitals give you when they say " you might taste a metallic tasted in the back of your mouth"..... it feels the way that tastes lol and cold. has anyone… read more

You’ll always be able to feel the screws and the indentation, mainly at the top back of your head at least for me. I had a left temporal resection, i know you had a right.the scar will never be perfectly smooth and my hair never grew back on top of it, they didnt cut my hair around it either though, they just parted my hair and pulled the left side back.

I mean I can feel my screws in my head now and surgery was March 2021.

I had staples used for me 9 industrial sized staples to be exact I didn't feel them but the area was a bit tender and irritated for a couple days and I had stitches to many to count but never felt anything

You might want call your Neurologist and ask to be seen. Or if not him or her call your M.D.
