Not all doctors know everything, not all seizures present the same and for him to say your not actually having a seizure because you didn't loose bladder function or bite your tongue shows his not a very educated in that area .
if these seziures or episodes are new and you haven't seen a neurologist my advice is go get a referral from your doctor to go see one .
You may have non-epileptic seizures due to stress or some emotional trauma but that isn't for me to diagnose you need to seek a proper medical assessment by the right doctors.

I always keep an extra pair of pants, underwear, and shirt in my car trunk as a backup.
It only happens 1-2times a year and I'm usually at home... but I've been at an event before where seizures happened.🤗
I was able to change my clothes and no one seemed to notice.

Yes! That kept happening to me during night seizures alongside with somnambulism (one day I literally went out in my underpants only and it is a great luck I had not been raped or something)!
After reducing some stress I think, that did not happen for 11 months to me now. Just know that you're not alone and you're supported!

I know how you feel, the trauma of seizures is enough without having to wait around for incompetent doctors.
