A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

And use a CPAP machine if so does that have an effect of how much seizures you have during the day or week or changes in energy fatigue etc.
I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea 2 years ago and wanting to redo the test as my fatigue is getting worse i know endrometriosis and seizures causes fatigue and meds but I'm not on medications and still have this symptom ,I'm just wondering will using a CPAP machine help in some way .

Have suffered from sleep apnea for at least 10yrs
The CPAP machine never worked for me. I tried 2 different masks.
Tried sleeping in bed laying laying on my back and sides.
Tried sleeping in a chair. Nothing worked.. I gave back the machine

I do have a CPAP machine, and it does help with seizures because of getting enough quality sleep. Now, in June 2004 - January 2005 (before I had my sleep test and then my CPAP machine). My severe sleep apnea gives me so much sleep apnea that I do not have a single sleep cycle regardless of how long I was sleeping. This resulted in a lot of seizures and frequently put me into frequent seizure states.

Yes I use cpac device nightly. The air flow is a very important. So I don't stop breathing and cause a trigger. The one thing is to find it with a good nose attachment. My make is now a resmed.

I experienced sleep apnea, no signs of it lately. I just take my meds as prescribed which has been very helpful living a healthy life style.
