I am glad that it helped you. And please share it with as many people as possible. We want to make sure the knowledge is out there.

Unfortunately, 10 years ago in an article I read (Psychiatric Times or the like) indicated that the number of people becoming doctors, nurses, counselors was going down because the graduate school costs were too much and no way to pay them off for years after finding the jobs. They predicted that the lasts to find to notice it was in the big cities. And it was already starting to show in the big cities and the pandemic hit and we lost thousands of medical people from the fiend because of burnout. Depending on the size of the hospital that you were at you saw so many there was nothing you could do for them and they were burning out and the supplies were not coming in. My mom went into the hospital in January 2021 (for something else) and the ER at the hospital was having to using places in the basement to put patients because they were overwhelmed. I have no idea if it was the same or worse around the world.

If you have any other questions, then feel free to ask, my research skills extend far behind medical and health.

And if you want a chat, then I am always ready.

Keep me advised if you get progress from your treatment.

Try to create a seizure action plan yourself. Think of what happens next when you have an aura that leads to a seizure? I used to have auras which was great for me because they acted like a 2-minute warning. It gave me time to look for a safe place to sit when the seizure happened. After i had surgery there were no more 2-minute warnings. So, when i have a seizure, it happens right away. I was never given any seizure rescue medicine so i had to be my own nurse if you will. You have to find out what seizure action plan will work for you. It's going to take some trial and error on your part.

Thanks JohnDufresne,
Others will find this information helpful also.
I had the paperwork (form) from the Epilepsy Foundation with me. The Neuro flat out refused to help me fill it out. It made me 😡. His nurse even was shocked. The Nurse that works with me through the EPTX, was surprised that he didn’t help me fill it out.
When they responded that way, I knew I was in the wrong place.
The Neurologist had the nerve to tell me that, the form I presented was for “Old people in a Nursing Home”.
No, it was not! It’s a SAP form. (Seizure action plan) for adults.
The Epilepsy Foundation offers 2 forms. One for adults and one for children in school. I was merely asking for guidance on how I could help others help me when needed. The Neurologist refused.
Yes I’m in process of looking & getting a new Neurologist. I may have to do it w/o the Epilepsy Foundation’s help.
