Could be any possible reason why but my heart feels strange during and after a seizure there have been times where I've woken up while asleep all of a sudden and feeling like my heart is going to stop not a fun experience.

Nada it monitors everything. It will be monitoring your heart rate majority of the time so they can record how you are feeling before, during and after a seizure. The best thing is make sure you have a book to read that you just can't put down, a word puzzle and maybe a way of listening to some soft music for relaxation. They will ween you off of your meds wanting you to have a seizure. This will give them data they can use to treat your seizures.
Its possible but you would have to be monitored in an EMU. I was having seizures that slowed my heart rate and made me pass out. Losing blood flow to my brain gave me memory loss.
Sounds like you need to go to ER and call your doctor right away. I have had that happen in the past after a seizure. Luckily i was visiting my doctor at the time.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I have seen a cardiologist but that was a year ago due to getting swollen feet and it was before these seizures happened my heart is fine but he did suspect me of having sleep apnea which tests prove that he was right but he didn't know the cause of why my feet were swollen.
I'm getting a 4 day 24hour EGG done in 3 weeks ,does that monitor heart rate aswell?
