I've read it lasts 8hrs but I cant seem to find any information regarding this and I cant find the website where I read that information either.

it all depends on the person and what food/drink there is. your hight and wight. and some will speed up and/or slow down other meds.

I’m on tegretol and I take it every 12 hours along with my other 3 medications which I probably don’t have to take as long as tegretol I take my meds twice a day which is easy for me x x

Hi Randy I’m on the prolonged release tablets it used to be called tegretol retard before it changed to prolonged release which basically still the same I have take it every 12 hours x.

When first diagnosed 40years ago I was on a relatively small dose of tegretol I took it morning &night They changed it to tegtretol extended release.as my seizures had changed I n type &frequency

Nada, please don’t say that. I have been told that all my life by others. It has taken many years to overcome that negativity.
