Have to admit I've never had a letter from the DVLA (UK)in 43years of having epilepsy I have voluntarily handed my licence in 3xxxxxtimes.Firstly contact DVLA to ensure it's not a scam)
dVLAhad staffing issues due to covid .Contact whichever professional helps with your EP management to see if they've sent this info to the dvla.Hope you get sorted

Yes I have receivedthe equivalent in the usa its for 6 mos though and your neuroligist has to sign off then you get to meet the Driver safety team for the Dept of motor vehicles in Calif their nice but in less you press them for your license when you meet with them they will hold it til Jesus comes back LOL

i live in the usa but i know insurance babble (mom is a med biller). this notice means... they know about your seizures/epilepsy. they want you to not drive for 12 months from this 22, june 2021. you have to return this 'dvla' (probably you have to get a fine if you keep it). you may apply before 22, june for a earlier release date (see ins9 for details). you maybe wanna ask your dr about this before you apply for earlier release.
i had the same stuff... only a few words changes. the dvla is change to the bmv. and the date are backwards. day/month/year for you is month/day/year. besides that. it is just like ours.

that really has to suck , who reported your medical condition ? I was advised not to drive by my neurologist but he hasn't advised anyone about my condition the RTA in Australia as its still under investigation he isn't sure what's really going on with me so it seems but out of common sense I don't drive much which is really hard because I love going for a drive and to make it even harder my mum purchased a new car for me in the hope that when I get better I can drive it and other reasons as well .
I don't want to report it to the RTA as just like your concern I'm worried I will have to go through all the licensing testing again which honestly would really piss me off because just like riding a bike you never forget how to drive.
