Taking Bloods

Especially for my UK friends but all contributions welcome.How often found you have bloods taken & what do the GPs ask for?. Liver function ? ,Levels of AEDs, ? I've never had mine taken regularly The GP thinks the Epilepsy Unit takes bloods( it doesn't , purely a consultation) & the Unit thinks the GP does .I think I may have to ask for them myself

My neurologist use to do it just once a yr but when I moved I saw epileptitogist who ordered full test - they took 6 vials of blood. I felt like I was in Dracula's office

My Dr's NP writes me a prescription electronically and I can go anytime to my local hospital and get it taken for my sodium levels with the medicine I'm on.
