Type Of Seizure
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

Has anyone ever experienced a non-epileptic seizure ? I'm not certain that I have these because I haven't been diagnosed. I've done research though on how different types of stress can be a trigger for a seizure. Things like anxiety, depression, or other mental issues. If anyone has ever experienced these, any imput that you have is greatly appreciated. I think I'm going to start by doing just some general therapies like meditation or yoga, I'm sure there are other things that can be used as… read more

Auras And Seizures, What If You Have Both? And The Doctor Tells You That You Seizures Are Stress Related And Not Neurological?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

I am going for further testing Friday. But was told tests taken 15+ years ago were non neurological. However, at that time they put me on non-seizure medications. Like depoakote and dilantin then others until the last few years of Topomax because I get bad migraines. Has anyone else had this happen? Also when I heard music and voice they said I was schizophrenic. Which I was told later by other Drs that I was misdiagnosed.
