How Many Rare Seizure Types Of Epilepsy Is It?
Self I'm kinda curios on how many rare seizure types there is. Myself have a rare type of epilepsy. And I just wonder, can some of you guys tell about different rare seizure types?
I just know I read there are like 40 diff types of seizures.
Oh, sorry to hear. But hope or as we all do. I just hope that everyone could just be cured I always felt diffrent around others. But very well. Happy new year 2021!
My neuro says I have ' complex' epilepsy.I was diagnosed 43 years ago My seizures started as grand mals ( no known cause)& I was only on Tegretol .The type & frequency has changed over the last 25 years Fortunately ,no major fits but clusters of absences & partial seizures each week No drug combos have helped so I'm afraid I'm one of the unlucky ones Stay safe x
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member i have a mess up story. the short version is complex partial do to celiac disease. long vison is i have auras, simple and complex partials, and grand mal seizures to do a combo of celiac disease and my kindergarten boosters vax.
There really is a rare type of seizures. But there are a few rare Syndromes that relates to Epilepsy.
Dravet Syndrome
Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome
Aicardi Syndrome
Alice in Wonderland Syndrome ( Micropsia )
Dose Syndrome
And there are still other syndromes relating to Epilepsy.
