I did. I come from the Philippines. My mom brought me to a witch doctor. My dad brought me to the Taoist Temple. I was brought to Chinese "doctors" too. They weren't really doctors but owners of the Chinese herbal pharmacy and I was made to drink different kinds of herbs, including and not limited to dried cultured beetles or cockroaches. It was gross as hell. It did not really help, to be honest. I'm just one of the lucky ones, I guess.

I've explored this -with a few neurologists and nutritionists. Needless to say, the neuros. were EXTREMELY reluctant to even talk about it -let alone want to work with me on it. I've read dozens of articles about "fat for fuel" (instead of carbs.) which is a major problem for anyone today with the way our diet in this Country has been the last 100+ years.
My focus is on getting my body back into balance and finding out what I need to get my body to heal itself as Nature intended. (To sum up 29 years of info. in a sentence or 2, the more I get into this stuff, and the more success I have, the more I'm convinced if GOD had meant for man to be sustained on drugs, He would've made pills grow on trees for us!) Look at it this way: no doctor ever tells anyone; "You're having migraines because you have an aspirin deficiency." no doctor ever says; "You're having heartburn because you don't have enough Rolaids in you." Does it REALLY make sense that they tell people all the time; "You had a seizure because your A.E. drug level isn't high enough."?

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member becoming a drs only do med and surgery. some drs have the option to be an alternative meds dr but most don't. i have both. you can see if hospital network is compatible with other drs. the other thing is research the hell out of your alternative methods.
as for your question... you need to just write. write to your town ... write to your city... write the congress... write to the rx and drs.
