I've had most of these side effects that can be related to epilepsy meds but if your female they can occur during the menopause, depending on your age .

Hi Maureen, I get those symptoms without periods causing stress sometimes seizures every 4 weeks or 28 days .

From what I do know the premenstrual cycle, menopausal, and hormones issued can trigger seizures in females.

The only thing I’m not getting is the hot flushes so I know I’m not going through the menopause I’m peri menopause the stage you get before menopause x x

I’m going through peri menopause I’ve not had a period in a few months but that’s normal for me just now I might just take a period soon it has happened before ever since I turned 40 my periods have been irregular I’m now 44 and I get the period pains without the period which drives me nuts x x
