[[treatment:Vimpat:5526c9df1fcaa3c8cb000399]] And [[treatment:Keppra:5508b44d6bcd6155dd0008e5]] And Pregnancy

Has anyone taken [[treatment:keppra:5508b44d6bcd6155dd0008e5]] and [[treatment:vimpat:5526c9df1fcaa3c8cb000399]] during pregnancy or know of anyone who has? The lack of data on [[treatment:vimpat:5526c9df1fcaa3c8cb000399]] during human pregnancy scares me a lot.

Thank you.

I was on that and some other ones. When I was pregnant the doctor lowered all my doses of everything, I was scared. But it all turned out great, now I have healthy Doyle who is 21!

I was on Keppra and a couple of other ones when I was pregnant. My doctor said it was better to lower, then to get off my drugs completely. A seizure during pregnancy is worse then the drugs in the system, that’s what my doctor said. My pregnancy was absolutely fine.

Did your Dr mentioned getting a EEG, EKG, Blood count so your Dr will give some answers and what type of meds you take you always ask your Dr questions about meds and as your
Dr wanted to help you bring a friend you trust or Mom Daddy so they know what type of
Seizure you have ask for EEG EKG blood count so you'll knows also ask questions about what bothering you ask

I’ve had 1 pregnancy on Keppra and 2 pregnancies on Lamictal. Both medications controlled my seizures, but I didn’t tolerate the side effects from Keppra. For all, I had my blood levels checked regularly and dose increased as needed, and today I have 3 happy, healthy kids :).
