Maybe less stress has reduced the seizures. Sertraline for anxiety decreased my seizures. I believe stress plays a huge part on y people have seizures.

Since you asked: I have clusters of focal seizures, up to 50 in 2.5 days. I've kept a detailed diary for over 7 years and tried to find patterns but in the long run they just come and go when they damn well want to. I've made detailed Excel charts and graphs to see if there's sense to it all. The interval between them was anywhere from 1.5 weeks to 13.5 weeks before I was diagnosed and treated.

After treatment they now can go for months between and I'll have 10 or less in 24 hours. I found myself being obsessed searching for patterns in hopes I could control them or at least predict them and was sure I had it figured out many times only to be proven wrong in the long run. My neuro was more concerned with just trying to eliminate them which we're still working with. I sure know what it's like to have these clusters and I'm sorry you have to deal with them because they're real horrible.

I get little early signs for a seizure but I will take an emergency pill to stop it. I seem to get it before, during, & after my period. My are problems with my speech. I also get anxiety when alone or most car rides. I had to stop work over 10 years ago due to stress causing the seizures. They were grand mal till they found the right meds. for me

I never know when I'm going to have my seizures or what kind of seizure to expect. I have three different kinds the doctors are aware of but the last two I've had were different they were in between the kind where u know it's coming on and I talked through one, the other one I felt it coming on then it was a drop seizure, I've never been able to feel a seizure or come out of one & know that something happened when others around me were not aware of anything

I've tried to follow a pattern also, and keep a record in my diary. I'll have none for over 120 days then clusters for three or four days at a time! I just don't understand why; stress, hormones, and more? This week I have my dosage of Lamictal changed/lowered and have a rough week... I suppose it's while the level is adjusting. Since being on Lamictal the way the body reacts during focal seizures is different also; this pattern has changed.
